I am currently a data scientist on the Advanced Analytics team at U.S. Venture. My work spans the
full range of data
science, from building machine learning models that drive business decisions to developing
AI-powered tools using large
language models. I take pride in ensuring that analytical work translates into real business impact,
and enjoy operating
at the intersection of data science, engineering, and strategy. I believe the best solutions are
often the simplest
ones, and try to let the problem dictate the approach rather than reaching for complexity for its
own sake.
Beyond modeling, I have taken ownership of how the team builds and ships its work. I led the
transition away from a
legacy low-code platform toward a modern, code-first development and deployment process, bringing
the same engineering
rigor I developed as a software engineer to the way our data science work gets built, reviewed, and
released into
production.

I worked across a variety of teams while with CONNECT: the core team, responsible for the policy
administration system
and related tools; the Robotic Process Automation team, developing bots that automate repetitive
workflows and free up
time for employees to focus on more meaningful work; and the digital team, building user-facing
front ends. I made
impacts through contributions to a standardized logging framework, SQL query optimization, and
maintaining reusable,
well-tested codebases.
I worked full time during summers and part time during the school
year.
